Pulse shows you how long the line actually is at the bars around you — reported by the people already inside, and timestamped so you can tell whether to believe it.
Tonight, at a glance
Each card carries the one thing you actually want before you put your coat on: how long the wait is, who said so, and how long ago. Friends already there show up on the card too.
Why you can trust it
A wait time with no age on it is just a rumour. Pulse never shows you one. Every value carries how many people reported it and when, and the colour drains as it gets older — so a stale number can't quietly pass itself off as current.
Fresh. Gold is reserved for this, and nothing else in the app is allowed to use it.
Aging. Still useful, no longer gospel. The gold is gone and the photo behind it dims.
Expired. Relabelled "last known" rather than presented as the current wait.
The whole neighbourhood
The map weights each venue by how busy it is right now. Bright means live reports are coming in; dim means nobody has said anything recently. It's the fastest way to decide which way to walk.

Photos from tonight, gone in 24 hours. No permanent feed to curate, so what you see is what is happening now.
Follow friends and see where they turned up. Venue cards show who is already there before you commit to a walk.
Hours, menus, and whether there is a pool table or keno — on the venue page, so you do not have to phone and ask.
Where we are
Pulse is live with a small group across 9 venues in South Boston. Wait times only work when enough people in one place are reporting them, so we are filling in one neighbourhood properly before adding the next. It is built and operated by Obsidn Ventures LLC.
